*Wow, were almost home already. I was gettin used to having Videl to snuggle with. I never knew she was such a deep sleeper, or that she is so beautiful when she is sleeping.* Gohan thought to himself as he once again found himself gazing at the slumbering Videl, who was using his chest as a pillow and sticking her arms inside his orange & blue gi to keep warm. In public, Gohan would have been blushing like hell, her fingers were spread across his muscles like...lets not say. At least she was asleep and didn't know what she was doing.

Gohan sighed when he felt Videl's soft fingers rub against his skin. Just as he started to enjoy it, he saw the dim lights in the forest that indicated he was home. Slowly he came to a stop in mid-air and, careful not to wake her up, positioned her so that he held her like a baby. *Heh, I WISH she was my baby'love.* he chuckled to himself as he decended towards his cozy little home.

"I'm so worried, where could my Gohan-san be!?! What am I going to do? What if he's in trouble?!?" Chi Chi brooded as she paced up and down in the living room.

"Chi Chi, Gohan is part saiyan, there's nothing he can't handle. And besides, he is probably just running around helping Videl with something, knowing how much he cares for that girl." Bulma said, trying to calm her down.

"D'ya think so?" Chi Chi asked anxiously.

"Yes Chi Chi, for all I know those two could be..." suddenly there was a knock on the door.

"I'll get it" Chi Chi said, running up to the door. There stood Gohan. "Oh my Gohan I was so worried about you where have you been all this time did you notice it is 10:00 and a school night or did you just forget because you were having a good time and didn't bother to remember your mother..." (that is something my mother would say, lol)

"SSSSSSSHHHHHHHH" Gohan hissed as he walked into the house. As if on cue, Videl let out a small whimper and muttered softly 'Gohan'. It was then that Chi Chi noticed Videl being held tenderly in her son's arms, like they were a newly wedded couple. Chi Chi's eyes widened and an evil thought reached her mind. Gohan of course, after his many experiences, new what was coming.

"Mom don't you dare say a word cuz I know exactly what you are thinking." Gohan said, his voice high enough to hear and low enough not to irritate his female friend.

"My my my Gohan, after all this time living far away from women besides your mother, 18, and I, I never knew you'd hold one like that, especially when she's your best friend." Gohan turned around to see Bulma sitting on the couch with a biiiiigggg breifs' grin on her face. He immedeantly turned bright red.

"Aw c'mon you guys, its not what you think. She just kinda fell asleep after we were chased around the planet by these two idiots who were trying to hit on us...again."

"So you two tried to run off with eachother...ALONE?" Chi Chi asked, getting all excited.

"Will you stop talking as if I was making out with her in an alley or something?" Gohan said, embarassed as hell. Once again Videl made the situation worse by unknowingly grabbing Gohan's shirt and making a small rip in it before her hand fell back down to the position it was in before.*Oh Videl, please don't pull anything on me while I'm in front of these two, please...*

"Who knows Gohan, you might of." Bulma said wryly, pulling her tea cup from her mouth slowly. Gohan turned red again. "Maybe we can bug the truth out of your *cough*girl*cough* friend."

"I did not, and you know it. Can you please get me a blanket kassan?"

"For Videl so that she doesn't freeze her *beautiful*(the word beautiful he said in his mind, if he said it out loud he would've been dinner) ass off."

Chi Chi's mind had another evil thought. "And where are you going to put the blanket, Gohan?"

"On Videl, Duh! Mom, I'm surprized she didn't get a cold already, her cloths are still a little wet."

Gohan noticed their eyes bulging and knew it wasn't good.

"Y-you mean you....(nods head to the right twice)?" Chi Chi asked.

A few nerves appeared on Gohan's forehead. "I didn't do anything to her!! She fell into a lake!!!" he said, lieing that he actually ASKED her to go in the lake.

"I'm sure she did Gohan-san." Bulma asked, half laughing.

"Bulma, what kind of a person do you think I am?!?"

"A saiyan one. Ya know saiyans tend to get a little, how can I say, excited at times." Bulma said, sipping her tea. "I should know..." she grinned

Gohan went so red he looked as if he was on fire. "Are you suggesting that I had sex with her?" he asked, as firmly as he could.

"Possibly......." She answered, looking up at the wall.

Bulma grinned once again. "I dunno...you don't have any proof of that do you? Eh? I mean, by the way you're turning red and acting all huffy, you might be just trynig to cover yourself up..."

Once again, Videl made herself noticable, and this time in a good way. "Stupid lake" she muttered as she slightly turned so that her head faced Gohan's chest. "Why did I have to fall in" she murmured gently, gripping herself for warmth, then going back to using Gohan as a heat source. (If your wondering, she is asleep through this entire conversation, and did not hear what Gohan, Chi Chi, and Bulma where talking about.)

"OOOhhhh....there goes that thought..." Chi Chi complained.

"Mom can you just gimme a blanket so that I can get her home and her father doesn't come up with the same conclusions as you?" he asked, losing his patients. In actuallity, he wanted to go to her house slowly so that he'd have time to gawk over her.

"I'll get one for you Romeo." Bulma chuckled as she go up and walked to the closet.

"Great, I have a new name." Gohan said out loud. *Now watch, Videl's gonna go around calling me that...hey, wouldn't that be a kewl thing? Think about it, a perfect girl like Videl walking around callin me Romeo...who the hell am I trying to fool here?*

"Oh really, what other name did you have before?" Chi Chi asked.

"Mr. I'll-do-anything-to-make-my-own-life-miserable." He replied, half laughing and half blankly.

"Who gave you that name?"

"Videl-chan." He said lowly as he once again gazed at Videl. She looked so innocent when she was sleeping, when she wasn't awake and active, just like he had once been. In a sense he still was innocent... He smiled at her as memories flooded his head. He fought the urge to kiss her smooth cheeks that were now pink from cold. Suddenly he felt someone's breath down the back of his neck, and his head shot up.

"Chan? Videl CHAN? Ah, I see now...so you have had some little moments with my future daughter-in-law." Chi Chi said, her grin as evil and big as it had ever been.

"No!!!" Gohan pouted, trying to regain his control over his mother's thoughts. "What I'm not allowed to look at her?!?"

"Oh no, its just that you too look so kawaii!!!" Chi Chi said and giggled too wildly for a woman of her age.

"God, if there is a God, help my mother learn not to tease my already tormented soul."

"What was that?" Chi Chi asked angrily, having another one of her sudden mood swings.

"Here Gohan." Bulma came out with the blanket that Gohan had requested for his future mate.

"Arigato." Gohan, as carefully as he could, placed Videl on the couch and slowly began to wrap the blanket around her shivering skinny body. He handled her with such care, it were as if she was made out of glass...too precious to shatter. Bulma and Chi Chi watched the event with enthusiasm, though it wasn't a big deal.

"Awww, how Cute!!! I can't remember Vegeta treating me with such affection before..." Bulma said. As Gohan gently lifted the girl from the couch, he gave Bulma a death glare, which frightened her at first. Then she realized that Gohan would never hurt family or friends like that...too much.

"My son is going to make a perfect husband for Videl one day..." Chi Chi said, nearly in tears and acting all setimental again.

Gohan's death glare moved to his mother, who was silently crying and choking out words like "He's grown up so fast, the next thing *sniff* you know he's gonna *sniff* have a family and never speak to me *sniff* again...waaaaahhhhh!"

"Kassan, I'm sixteen. I'm not old enough to move out and I'm not even thinking about marrige.(yeah, riiiiiiiiiiight.)" He started walking towards the door. "...I'm taking Videl-san to her home, I should be back within an hour or two. Don't you two start getting any ideas either. JAAA!" he shouted over his shoulder as he took off into the night once again. Finally, he was alone. With Videl.

"I can't get over how cute those two are!" Bulma happily said while watching Gohan dissappear in the darkness. She looked down at her friend, who was still crying. "Whats wrong Chi Chi?"

"My *sniff* son is a *sniff* man!!! Waaaaaaaaaaahhhhhhhh! My son...He's an adult!!" she cried.

"Kassan.." Goten mumbled as he walked into the room rubbing his eyes. "You're talking too loud..." When he opened his eyes, he saw his mother on the floor crying and his best friend's mom trying to stop her. "Mrs. Bulma, what's wrong with kassan?" He asked in his adorable/kawaii/cute chibi voice.

"Oh nothing, you know how she gets about Gohan and Videl." Bulma answered, then sighed.

"Oh thats right. Niichan loves Videl-san and Kassan wants him to marry her." Goten stated innocently.

"How do you know he loves her?" Chi Chi suddenly stopped crying, being interested in what her second son had said.

"Well, you told me that if you love someone you care about them alot,and one day niichan was talking to me and said that he cared for me and Videl-san very very much and that he'd never let anything bad happen to us." Goten said, happy that he was able to answer his mother's question. "Doesn't that mean that he loves her?" he asked since he was unsure of himself.

Chi Chi stared at her other son, her mouth fumbled and her eyes became watery before she started to cry again. "Waaaahhh! My son knows what love is and my other son is IN love!!! WWAAAAAAHHHHH!!! They grew up too faaaaaaaaaaaaaaast!!!!"

"What's wrong kassan?"

"Goten, get back to bed. I'll take care of your mother, k?" Bulma asked Goten sweetly.

"Hai!" Goten chirped and ran to his room.

"What a cute kid. Too bad Trunks wasn't more like him, the little disaster." Bulma said and laughed.

"WWAAAAHHH!!! MY SONS!!!"

"Eh, I guess its just me and you again." Gohan said to Videl, who obviously didn't hear him. Instead of hearing her lively voice, he got a sigh, but it was all the same, it came from her. That's all that really mattered to him. "Well, I'd be arrested for being seen at night flying you around, so I guess I'll walk." Gohan said once again to his crush as he stepped lightly on the ground. Where he landed was a park, which he recognized as the one he and Videl had run through while being chased by Eliza. Videl sighed again and turned her head so that it faced upwards. Gohan looked down at her face, which was more beautiful than ever with the moonlight drifting over it. He lost control over himself, and snuck a slow, affectionate kiss on her forehead without even thinking if she was awake, or if anyone had seen him. He smiled, then continued onward. "Why do I have the strangest feeling I'm being watched?" he asked to no one.

Forty-Five minutes later...............

The half saiyan found himself in front of his destination, Videl-chan's house. More like mansion. *I wonder what her father will think of me when he sees me carrying his sleeping daughter at 11:00 at night.* he thought as he rang the doorbell. *at least he can't kill me.*

A maid wearing the traditional black dress with the frilly white apron answered the door. Her hair was poofy and blonde, and her eyes were hazel. "How my I help you? Oh my what happened to Miss Videl?!" she asked, looking at Videl, who was taking a vacation in dreamland.

"Oh, uhh, well its a long story..."

"Well come in, come in, I don't want you two to catch a cold." she said as she lead him in. "Ok, now continue."

"Uhh,I was walking around in Argyle Park, and I saw Videl-san sitting against a tree, and she was asleep, so I decided to bring her over here." He lied severely. What would she do if she found out that he had actually dragged her around? Well, Videl looked like she was enjoying it, ALOT. So it wasn't his fault, cuz if she had a problem with what he was doing he'd gladly stop.

"Oh I see, thank you very much young man, and you are?"

"Uh, Son Gohan....I'm Videl's friend from school."

"Ah, you've been mentioned a few times before." she stated as she grabbed some keys from the hanger in the hallway.

"Oh really?" He asked, blushing.

"Ah yes, Videl said you were a very nice person...did you say that you saw her in Argyle park?"

"Oh my dear that's 20 miles away! You must be tired!"

"Oh no, I'm ok. Videl isn't heavy at all...." he said. *hah, you think 20 miles is a lot, try 4,000 kilometers*

"You carried her the entire way?!" she asked, stunned.

"Dear your arms must be killing you!!! Oh put her down, you might rip a muscle!"

"I'm ok, really, can you just show me where her room is so that I can put her down? I'm kinda running late..eh heh.." he asked quietly.

"Sure, right this way." She lead him up a fleet of stairs, into a hallway, to the left, straight, another left, a right and a left.

*Man is this place big.* Gohan thought to himself, eyeing all of the decorations. The maid finally lead him to a room.

"Here sweety. Just put her in her bed and I'll take care of the rest for you. Just, don't get lost." she said and ran off.

"Sure thing." He said. The room he was now standing in was rather small compared to some of the other ones. *this is probably a guest room, that woman probably didn't want me going into Videl's real room.* he said, looking around. The walls were VERY light blue, the carpet navy blue, and a queen sized bed with ocean pictures lay in the corner. Of course there was other furniture, too. "Well there you go." he whispered while laying her on the bed and pulled the covers over her body. "Sleep tight." he cooed and couldn't resist brushing away her bangs and giving her another sweet kiss. "Ashiteru" he whispered too low for anyone but Videl and himself to hear.

"Gohan..." Videl murmured.

"Arigato..." she whispered as she drifted to sleep again. Gohan couldn't help but smile at her.

"Ja." he said to her and opened the window. Taking one last look at her, he jumped out and landed on the ground with a soft thud. He wasn't in a hurry, so he decided to walk a few miles before flying the rest of the way. The stars above him glistened around a cresent moon, and Gohan admired it while he walked along a path going through a section of the park he was in.

"Tehehe." a low voice giggled.

"Eh?" Gohan turned around to face where the voice had come from. "Who's there?" he asked. A familiar power level flashed up for a split second. He blinked as he realized that whoever it was, was running somewhere to hide, from him. "Yo I know you're out there so can you cut the act already? No? K then, I'll have ta blast you out." He threatened. Of course he wasn't really going to, but whoever that was knew of Gohan's abillities.

"Eep." the voice scrambled and settled down.

"Whatever." Gohan turned his back and started walking again. "Kassan's probably going to ask if she should be expecting any grandchildren once I get home...I better take all of our frying pans before I lose my temper and she tries to hit me. I just need some sleep..." He said in a tired tone of voice and yawned. "Lucky for Videl I didn't doze off and drop her while she was asleep or ::yawns:: I would've been hunted down and killed by everyone..heh."

"Cute Gohan." the voice from before said. This time Gohan knew exactly who it was. "Very cute."

"Hah! This time you can't deny it!"

"Deny what?" Gohan asked, trying not to make himself noticable.

The short person was now floating in mid-air next to Gohan's ear. "I saw that little kiss...you know, when you were holding Videl-san in your arms...heh heh heh, I knew there was something between you two."

Gohan froze. *shit* he silently cursed. "Krillin, were you spying on me?"

"Not purposely, I saw you flying by with Videl in your arms and I figured it was a mondo cool (Inside joke, if you read the interview with Sonny Strait you'll get it, also if you ever heard Krillin say the word 'mondo' you'll get it) chance to see if you'd give away anything, and damn was I right! Hey, that little goodnight kiss was cute too."

"EEEEEE!!" Gohan face-faulted. "You mean you saw when I brought her in her room?" he asked, trembling.

"Yup. Thank Dende for windows!" Krillin smiled.

"D-did you hear anything I s-said?" He asked, hoping with all his heart the answer would be no.

Krillin's simple smile had turned into a sinister grin. "Oh...why are you so worried? From the way you ask its if you said something meant for only one person. Hmm, but what? Good night ain't a big deal, sleep tight is sweet but not huge...ahh! It must be that word...whats the word you said to Videl, Gohan?" Krillin teased.

Gohan was nearly in tears. "Please Krillin, don't say anything about that..please? If you want me to live don't say anything about what happened!!!"

"Aww, c'mon bro! It should be a good thing! It took me nearly thirty years to get married, and you've got your heart set when you're sixteen!"

"But Krillin! I'll be fried rice (inside joke, if you know what Gohan's name means then you'll get it)if anyone finds out I lo-... er I mean like Videl!!"

"You were about to say love!"

Gohan was getting ticked, watching a man 20 years older and several feet shorter than he stand there and poke fun at him. "Ok, ok...I admit it, I have feelings for her, but can you please stop?"

"Stop me!" Krillin shouted, then thought for a moment. "I think I just said something wrong..."

"I know what you're thinking Krillin, but I'm serious."

"Oh alright, but under one condition."

"What would that be?"

"You must bow down to me and say 'You are my almighty mondo cool king and I will do what you please!' I'm just kiddin....I want you to confess that I was right in thinking that you have the hots for Videl Satan!!! Then I'll keep my mouth shut."

"Well, I guess I can't deny it anymore...that is to you..." Gohan trailed off, hoping that was enough to stop Krillin from spilling the beans.

"C'mon, you heard me say it already...ain't that enough?"

Krillin's face tensed up. "No. Everyone teased me about my love life, now it's time to take my revenge! BWAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHA!!!!!"

"Krillin, you're scaring me."

"Gohan, what would your father say?"

"He would say 'whats that is that a food?' Lol..."

"Gohan..." Krillin said while putting his hands on his hips.

"No! For all I know, you could've been sent by my mother to tell her what happens! And if not she's probably hiding in the bushes!"

"Fine....I'll just spead the word...."

"Son Gohan!!!!!" a woman's voice called. Turning around and ignoring the little mini-battle he and Krillin had started, Gohan noticed it was the maid.

"Hi..uhh..is there something wrong?" Gohan asked.

"Ah, here you go!" She extended her arm and handing him his blanket.

"Miss Videl thanks you."

"Hai, she just went back to sleep."

"Pssst." The maid whispered in his ear.

(sweatdropping)"Yea..."

"That was so cute of you...Miss Videl chooses her friends wisely, tehehe..." she whispered and ran off towards the back of the mansion, quickly opening and closing the door.

"NO!" Gohan shouted. "I am such an idiot! I am so dead! Somebody kill me!!" He screamed as he stomped the ground.

"Whats wrong?" Krillin asked.

"That...stupid maid.....arg if she says anything I'll kill her!"

Gohan sighed. "Nevermind...I just need to sleep."

"Yeah, after all you did forfeit your rest to let your Videl get some sleep."

"MY Videl? Hah I WISH! OOOOPPPSS." Gohan smacked his face. "Man am I out of it...."

"Hehehehehehe...you wish eh? Well, at the rate you're going it will come true." Krillin stated thoughtfully.

"Eh,ya really think so?" Gohan asked as he looked up towards Videl's bedroom window, which was pretty far away but in plain sight due to its size and his amazing sight.

"Yeah...not for anything but I think Videl-san likes you too." Krillin winked and nudged him in the rib.

Gohan turned red at the thought. "I'm not even going there." His feet slowly lifted up from the ground. "Yo lets go home now."

"Yo, mondo cool idea bro. Oh I almost forgot..." Krillin said as he pulled out something from his pocket that was about the size of a sticky note paper. "Ya might want to keep this away from your mother."

Gohan's eyes widened. It was a photograph. Of him. Kissing Videl. Due to the bright moonlight behind him, it looked like he and Videl (who was in his arms) were shadows. But you could still figure out it was him. "Krillin, you took pictures?" He said with a shocked expression on his face.

"Uh..heh heh heh, well, only that one..." Krillin sweatdropped. Just to make sure Krillin wasn't faking it, Gohan's eyes lit up and his camera fell out of his pocket with a POP!

"That takes care of that, I'm going home now..." Gohan turned his back on Krillin and flew towards home.

"HEY! WAIT FOR MEEEEEEEE!!!" Krillin shouted as he too took off.
