GOHAN'S BIOGRAPHY
Gohan is the eldest son of Goku and Chichi. And is the one Saiyan that seems to prefer normal life rather than the heat of battle. He is one of the smartest of the Z-warriors, mostly due to the fact that ChiChi tortured him to study constantly , she always wanted a scholar for her first child.
Gohan has the potential to be the strongest of all the warriors, and this is shown many times throughout the series. He has many uncontrolled spurts of energy, that show up unexpectantly whenever someone harms his friends. Which often helps in the battle because of the element of surprise. Gohan finally gets control of this monstrous power when he was 11 years and with it defeats Cell.
I could GO into huge detail about each of his battles but I won't becuase that a would take to much time, and frankly I'm lazy. So here is as short as possible biography of the termibbly cute Saiyan.
Gohan is first introduced as an adorable but somewhat of a crybaby 4 year old. Who gets stolen by his uncle Radditz. Radditz eventually gets killed by Piccolo. But unfortunately Goku kicked the bucket as well, after sacrificing his life. Piccolo hearing of the saiyans who were coming in a year, decided to train Gohan becuase of his hidden power.
So Piccolo drops him in the middle of nowhere for 6 months, and trains him personally for the last 6. And somewhere in that time period of being abandoned, chased by dinosaurs, thrown off cliffs and beaten. Gohan found a role model and friend in Piccolo (aaaawwwwwww ^-^).
That is the start of many hardships of defeating the Saiyans, Freiza, Cell, Garlic Jr (hahahaha).
After undergoing such turmoil and blood shed Gohan at age 16 finds out his biggest challenge ever. Girls.
I say plural becuase before he hooked up with his one and only chica (If you don't know whom I'm talking about your in the wrong shrine.) There was two obstacles Angela and Ereeza. Gohan made the mistake of transforming on the roof of the high school when Angela was on it too. And Gohan got blackmailed into Going on a date with her becuase she said she knew his secret. Well ends up the secret was that he wore teddy bear underwear (dirty girl watched as he dressing in the locker room), and not the Saiyanman thing. Lucky him. Ireeza doesn't do much except flirt constantly and piss Videl off.
Gohan apparently likes Videl by always worrying about her. But before she knew his secret identity he was frightened to death of her, mostly becuase he knew she was the one most likely to find him out. (I love those scenes his eyes are the size of dinner plates. O_o)
Gohan is smart, funny (in a nerdy sense), loyal, sensitive, cute, and brave. And it's not hard to see why Videl loves him so much.
