Part II: All's fair in Love and War

"Gohan!" Videl squirmed, trying to get out of Gohan's grasp. He had been playing with her throughout the whole flight home. Now, he had his arms around her waist, pinning her arms to her side. Then...he let her go.

"Mistake!" Videl cried as she landed a punch to his stomach, sending him to the ground below. Gohan just looked up and laughed. They arrived at the Son's home in about 15 minutes. Chichi was there to greet them.

"Hi Gohan. Who's your girlfriend?" she grinned

"Mom! She's not my girlfriend!" Gohan blushed MOM PLEASE DON'T START!

"Videl Satan, Mrs. Son." Videl bowed to the older woman.

"Satan? As is Hurcule Satan? You're really his kid?" Gohan's eyes went wide.

"Yes. I didn't want to tell you." Busted...*Sigh* Videl let the subject slide.

"Please come in and do call me Chichi," She waved the 2 teens inside. Since Videl went in first, she was greeted by Goten.

"Yay! Brother's..." Goten hopped onto Videl, thinking it was Gohan. Huh?

"Hi to you too, little guy," Videl smiled. Goku? Nah…couldn't be. Too small!

"Goten!!" Gohan's blushed got deeper. His younger brother has his arms around Videl's neck and his tail around her waist .

"Yay! I gotta sister!" Goten squealed.

"S-s-sister?!? I'm not your sister!" Videl defensively waved her hands in front of her.

"Yes, you are!" Goten grinned, "Mom said 'when Gohan brings home a girl, then she's my new sister.' That's what she told me today."

"MOM! Is that what you have been telling him?!?" Gohan was is sheer panic. Thanks Mom, Goten! Now she's going to hate me!

"Nice way to put it, Chichi. But, it's not true." Videl said as she gently pealed the tiny Sayin off of her.

"Yes, I know. Would you like some tea? We could talk," the older woman offered

"Yes, I'd like that." Videl replied. They walked into the kitchen, leaving the boys alone.

[Women] Goku walked in

[Can't understand them] Gohan sighed

[And yet, can't live without them]

[True…when do we eat?]

(A/N: Gohan! Can't you ever think about anything else but you're stomach?!?"

"No fair!" Gohan managed to dodge 2 ki blasts that his father and little brother sent his way.

"Oh, c'mon! Don't be a baby!" Goten started a rapid series of kicks and punches at his older brother. Gohan managed to dodge most of the hits, while at the same time, counter attacks to his father from behind.

"KA-ME-HA-ME…HA!" a kamehameha blast managed to scare off Goku and Goten. Videl appeared beside Gohan, looking very pleased with herself. "Need help?"

"You bet!" Gohan replied. So the four sayins went at it. It was a fight that looked more like playing than actual training. This went on for about an hour, when 2 familiar energies were felt.

"Hold it!" Videl called, bowing her head, concentrating on he energies. "Akari…"

"A-who?" Goten turned his back to a mountain, where Akari and Neero (A/N: Akari-Erasa) combined their strength to make a ray of ki…headed straight for Goten! But, thanks to his inherited trait, also know as Goku's naïveness, he didn't see it coming.

"Goten-chan! Watch out!" Videl shoved the youngest Son out of harm's way. Turning, she pulled back her fist, eyes flaring. "AKARI, YOU DUMMY!" Videl countered the ray with a punch, making it shatter and harmless. After hovering there for a few seconds, she sped off towards the mountain.

"Videl! Wait for me!" Goten followed her with his brother and father at his heels.

"Nice shot," Neero smiled, "Good way to get someone's attention

"Well, considering Videl isn't gonna let anything happen to a little kid…"Akari replied, smiling and counting down to when Videl would arrive. 5…4…3…2…1…0.

"AKARI!" Videl's voice rang through out the mountain range. She stopped on a ledge, facing Akari, and glared, "You jerk! Firing at a kid, just to get my attention! That's too low, even for you!"

"Precisely. Now I suggest you listen to me," Akari crossed her arms.

"And if I don't?" Videl's temper was reaching its peak.

"Then, I'll kill you." With that, Akari went Super Sayin.

"Well, go ahead. I'm all ears," Videl's voice was dripping with sarcasm. She wasn't at all surprised at Akari's transformation. After all, she's always been jealous of Videl, so she probably trained until she became Level one.

"Just a piece of advice: Stay away from Son Gohan. He's mine." Akari smirked

"That's it? Well, you can just go ahead and try to stop me."

Gohan, Goten, and Goku arrived at the top of the mountain. They could feel a fight coming, and it wasn't gonna be pretty.

"Okay, then we settle this now. Winner take all." Akari assumed a fighting stance.

"Akari, look. I know that you like him, and it looks like that he and I…" Videl tried not to let this go any farther.

"Like one another," Akari finished for her. "…Die Videl…" she attacked Videl faster than the speed of light. Upper cut, knee to the stomach, and a punch to the chest sent Videl into the cliff side.

"Videl-san!" Goten cried, hopping down to where she lay, "You ok?"

"Videl, do you give up? Do you release your hold on Son Gohan?" Akari asked triumphantly.

"Now-just-a-minute!" Gohan hollered, "What are you talking about?!?" Just then he was occupied with Neero, who was screaming `Stay away from Videl!'

"STOP THIS NOW!!!" Videl screamed at the top of her lungs, startling Goten and everyone else, "Just stop this! Akari, you know good and well that you can't get to me that way, so we'll settle this like real Sayins."

Videl stood and focused all her energy that she ever had. Her eyes flickered and then became a sea green. The ebony black hair that was laying so nicely in it's place, had split and turned a true gold, matching the aura that swirled around her. With a grunt, Videl shot off at Akari. Gohan and Neero had also gone Super. Goten sighed and returned to his father, so he could watch the teenagers duke this out.

This went on and on and on. Videl and Gohan flew till they were back to back. It was time to even up the odds.

Videl: [These guys don't know when to quit]

Gohan: [Nope. We need to finish this now]

G: [Gimme your tail]

So they entwined their tails, making the auras become one. Akari and Neero froze in fear, not wanting to get into more trouble. How are they doing that???

"IT'S FINISHED! DOUBLE KA-ME-HA-ME-HA!" (A/n: my story, my attacks!) Gohan and Videl shot blasts so that they covered the entire area. The baka couple, Akari and Neero, where blasted away, and put into a coma that would last at least 6 months. Gohan smiled.

"Done…" Videl forced out. Gohan managed to catch her when her world went black.

At the Son's house

"How is she?" a small child-size voice asked

"She's gonna be OK. All this one needs is rest." An older, deeper voice replied, "Tell Mom I'm eating up here."

"K…" A slam indicated at door being shut. Videl forced her eyes open to take a look at where she was. She was sitting in Gohan's lap, with her head on his shoulder. Videl gave a low moan.

"Well, someone finally wanted to wake up," Gohan grinned as he gently pushed stray hairs out of her face.

"What happened? All I remember is you, Akari, Neero, and me in a fight. Then there was the Kamehameha."

"Yea. And all of us were Super Sayins. I didn't know that you could go to that stage," Gohan looked down at Videl. Dear Dende, she's beautiful.

"Neither did I. Yet, I was always close to getting there. I guess that last bit of anger did it."

"You must of used all your energy, because you blacked out right after," Gohan gently began to rock her back and forth, like a baby. Videl's eyes shot downward. She was in a T-shirt and shorts, instead of her armor. When she tried to move her tail, it seemed to be rapped around something. That something was Gohan's tail. He was rocking her so gently, that it was impossible to stay awake. Gohan followed her into sleep soon after.

"Mommy! Mommy, where are you?" a young girl ran around an empty estate. Teen Videl followed close behind.

"Videl? Honey, what are you looking for?" A young Hercule stepped out

"Daddy, where's Mommy?" the little Videl looked up at her father

"Gone, honey. Mommy's gone." His voice began to crack

"Gone?? No…she can't be…WAHHHHHHHHHHH!" Young Videl flew off crying. She flew at top speed for a few minutes, just far enough to reach `Mother's Tree,' a cherry blossom tree. Young Videl curled up at the base of the tree and cried her eyes out.

"Whatcha cryin' for?" A boy walked up to her. He had wild black hair, a red gi on, and the famous Power Pole.

"Mom…she left…me," Videl sobbed

"Oh." The boy knelt down next to her, "What's you're name?"

"Videl…" She looked up at him

"Son Gohan, but you can call me Go-chan." The boy smiled. The Teen Videl floated above them. It hit her: this was a part of her past! Gohan?!? I remember! Fog swirled around the scene, obscuring her vision. The dream ended.
