For their is Always You Videl sighed she couldn't believe it, but it was true. She had this felling for a while sickness, she was also late. So she took the test and it was all right their, right in front of her. She threw the test in the trash can next to the sink and she ran into her bedroom and started to cry, she wasn't going to school today she didn't want to she couldn't face him, I cant face him, He'd probably hate me. Later that day the maid was cleaning the bathroom something she normally does. Just as she reached to the trash can she saw the test, and she knew whom it belonged to. Well duh it is her bathroom, so it has to be hers. The maid made her way to Videl's room and knocked on her door. She heard a come in and so she did. “Videl, we need to talk.” “About what.” “You know, I found it in the trash, don't lie to me.” Videl looked at her maid and burst into tears, and told her. When Videl told her father. He wasn't too happy about it; he did want her to tell the father as soon as possible. From there they decided on what they will do. The next day she went to school felling better. But when she saw Gohan she felt her stomach do flip-flops. “Gohan we need to talk after school meet me at my place, be there it is important.” She said before taking her seat, Gohan on the other hand really wanted to know what she wanted to tell him. She sounded like it was important and something I have to wait for she also sounding worried. He thought to himself. Luckily the school day went by fairly fast and in no time he was in Videl's room and she was about to tell him something that will change his life. “Gohan-San, remember that night a month ago?” “Yeah………..” he said wondering were she was getting at. “You're going to hate me a break up with me when I tell you.” “Tell me what, you are half donkey and the circus is looking for you?” “No………” “Then what?” “I'm pregnant.” At that moment she burst into tears, Covering her face with her hands. Then she felt arms wrap around her “Its going to be OK, we will get threw this.” He said kissing her on the top of her head. Videl then placed her head on his chest and she crying, but these were happy tears happy that Gohan was still at her side. This is how Mr. Satan found them. “Would you like to stay for dinner boy?” He asked “Sure if its not to much trouble.” “Not at all.” At school the next day Gohan and Videl felt different. When lunchtime hit Sharpener and Erase felt like something was different between the two. For instance they were sitting beside each other and not across. Not to mention Videl wasn't eating that much she even looked sick. Both Sharpener and Eliza felt like something was up and they weren't telling. “OK spill it.” Said Erase whom had enough of this strange behavior “Spill what?” Videl asked as if nothing big was happening “I know you Videl, you cant hide anything from me.” She continued “And don't hide nothing form me either.” Sharpener said with a bit of anger in his voice. Videl looked at Gohan with concern in her eyes, “We can trust them cant we I mean they are our friends aren't they?” “Well I suppose so, guys you cant tell anyone about we are about to tell you got it.” “We promise.” Said Eliza “I'm going to have a baby.” Videl whispered to them “and Gohan is the father, but you cant tell anyone got that.” They stared at her in disbelieve they couldn't believe it their having a baby I wouldn't even thought they would do it, well not before they got married. Eliza thought to herself. Videl looked close to tears both her friends were giving them weird looks. Eliza sighed and rubbed Videl's arm to comfort her. “We wont tell we promise.” None of them noticed a red head that was listing to their conversation. Then red head ran to her group of friends. “You guys wont believe what I just herd!” “What.” Yelled one of her friends “Tell us Angela.” Angela took a deep breath and told them everything with only a few minor differences. “ I cant believe it Videl sleeping around, man she doesn't know who the father is, man what a slut.” Another friends said, “ I thought she was going out with Gohan, man he going to be hart broken.” “And I will be the one to pick up the peaches.” Angela stated After school let out Gohan decided it was time to let his parents in on it. Both Gohan and Videl decided that they would move in with his family. “Your family is just so nice and welcoming I want that for the baby.” “Maybe we should ask them first, but I'm sure it is all right.” He stated, “You know my mom she's been trying to squeeze grand kids out of us ever since I brought you over for the first time.” He laughed, “ she's bounded to be happy, as for my father he should be happy he may not understand what is going on same for my brother only he'll ask questions.” Soon they walked throw the door and found Chichi cooking up a meal. “Okaasan, we have something to tell you, but maybe you should get Outgun too it would be easier if we tell you at the same time.” Gohan said as he walked in. Chichi looked at him oddly but decided to do what was asked “ Goku, get in here Gohan needs to tell us something Goten you better get in here too.” She yelled in about a second both Goku and Goten were in the kitchen because no one disobeys Chichi I mean no one. Gohan took a deep breath and reached for Videl's hand for comfort. “Okaasan Otosan you see the reason why your hear is because me and Videl are going to you see it all started one night.” “Gohan get on with it.” “Me and Videl are going to have a baby,” he said really fast but not fast enough “ I'm going to have a grand baby o that's wonderful.” She said “And we need a place to stay, at lest when the school year is over that is.” Videl finished for Gohan “Of course you can stay as long as you want.” Said Chichi in a daze Gohan and Videl walked into his room…their room. This is going to be a lot harder than I thought Videl thought to her self before falling asleep against Gohan well doing their homework. Gohan looked down at his girlfriend sleeping against him he gently put her down on the bed and let her sleep. The next day in school was different form the others it wasn't good different it was more bad different the stares they got people giving Gohan sympathized looks and Videl the evil eye something was up but they didn't know what. Videl swore she herd someone call her a slut, they were both very confused. They wouldn't know I didn't tell any one except Sharpener and Erase. Not it less… no they promised they may tend to have big months but they promised didn't they? Videl was now getting worried she knew that other students some how found out and some kind of rumor was going around. It’s not them it cant be them, if they told I'll beat them to a bloody pulp yeah, wait I cant I'm having a baby here so I cant. Urgggggggggg damn them. Soon the bell rang and Gohan and Videl went to their classes they had a sprat first period so they had to bare with not being with each other for forty-five minutes. Videl sat in her seat and was waiting for the teacher to come in. “Hey Vid, how ya doing?” asked Sharpener “Hey maybe Sharpener is the father, oh wait you wont know that would you.” Said one student, the rest laughed and snickered well some were mouthing slut to her. She was very confused on what was going on. “ What are you guys talking about?” she asked the student who said that to her. “Oh don't play dumb Slut we all know that your pregnant.” The student snarled back. Videl paled and looked down at the floor and said something that sounding like ‘it’s true.’ Videl then looked up “But I do know who the father is its Gohan,” Videl snapped back “ Whatever Slut, I kind of feel sorry for him I mean his girlfriend cheating on him and all.” Videl was just about to protest but the teacher walked in and shut the class up. Videl was never so glad that the class was over, it was even her favorite class but she also wanted to get to her next class so she could be with Gohan. When she saw him she ran right to him and embarrassed him. “ Gohan they called me a slut they know about the baby and they say I don't know who the father is, and when I tell them I do, they donut believe me.” She said sobbing. Gohan could only comfort her. The rest of the day was horrible lunchtime was the worst. People throw food at Videl and everyone was saying sorry to Gohan. “Gohan if she cheating on you why are you still with her.” Said one girl “ Because she didn't cheat on me and it is all a rumor.” He barked back “and I love her.” The girl rolled her eyes and left them. “Do you really love me? After all this you still love me?” “Of course, how cant I love you, you love me to donut you?” he asked smiling knowing the answer just wanting her to say it “I love you to.” She said. So lunchtime didn't seem all that bad anymore. Months pasted and Videl soon dropped out of school well she had to the school wouldn't allow Videl their they said she can make up her classes during the summer or she can repeat the 12th grade. She decided to retake the classes during the summer. Some summer I ‘m going to have not only will I be a mother but Ill also be in school. Gohan you better help me out because I'm going to need it. “Hey Videl, how was your day?” Gohan said coming home from school, only to Videl sitting on a chair in the kitchen eating ice cream. She was wearing on of Gohan ‘s T-shirts and pants. “Fine yours.” She said as if she sounded somewhere other than where she was. “Are you OK?” he asked concerned “Just thinking, that's all.” “Join me will you, as I do my homework?” Gohan said as he had his famous Son Grin. “Sure I need some one to keep me company as well.” She answered him. She got up and put the Ben and Jerry's Chunky Monkey Ice Cream away. Well he was doing his homework Videl lay on the bed thinking, well more stressing on the rumor at the school. I'm not their they could say anything about me, if they do Gohan is likely to tell me but he may not even know. She was really stressed out about this. Her doctor said it wasn't a good idea to be, but she couldn't help it. Later that night when they were all asleep Videl woke up with a start. She felt a pain race throw her body. It cant be time I'm only seven months along I'm too early to have the baby. But there was no dealing it. It was time and she needed to get to a hospital right away. “Gohan wake up its time, Gohan come on wake up.” She said shaking the hybrid. “ Hmm? Videl what's wrong why did you wake me?” he said waking up “Its time.” She said in pain. “Time, time for what?……………..oh kuso but its to early are you sure?” “Yes I'm sure.” “all right, all right Ill get everyone up, don't move until I get back.” Forty-five minutes later everyone was at the Satan City hospital. Gohan was with Videl and refused to move from her side. Three hours later Videl was progressing slowly and she was doing fine but they found something wrong with the baby. “Sir, I'm sorry but I'm going to have to ask you to leave.” One of the doctors told Gohan “Its for the good of the baby.” Gohan was then pushed out the door by one of the doctors. “Gohan what's wrong is the baby here yet?” Bulma asked concern. He could only shake his head. “My Videl better be all right because if she's not threatened hunt you down boy and eat you for lunch!” Mr. Satan threatened. “Videl is fine, baby's not.” He whispered trying to hold back his tears. He sat down in one of the chairs away from everyone he looked down at the floor and waited. “Oh poor Gohan are you all right?” Bulma asked coming over to him. Gohan shrugged and his body laugh told her he wanted to be left alone. Bulma got the message and left him. “Mom what's wrong with Brother.” Asked Goten, concurred. “He's sad.” “Why” “I don't know Goten for the first time I don't know” Chichi asked just wanting to hug her oldest son and tell him everything is all right. “Mr. Son you can come in now.” The doctor said his voice a deadly calm. Gohan got up and the doctor led the way. “What's wrong?” Gohan spoke for the first time in nearly an hour. “Videl is fine.” The doctor said “And the baby?” “We can only pray, that she will be all right.” Gohan stopped in mid tracks “I have a daughter?” “Yes a very sick one, she may not make it threw the night, you better talk to your girlfriend she passed out cold after giving birth, she will want to hear the news from you not some doctor.” Gohan shock his head and left to Videl's room “Videl Hun, I have some bad news.” Videl awoke to the sound of her name “Hmm Gohan babe what's wrong?” Gohan told her everything that he new. “Videl she is real sick. She can barely breath her hart rate going down, they…they have her on life support.” After Gohan told her this he broke down to tears Videl was already crying for ten minutes they cried on and with each other. “Gohan, can you stay with Pan?” Videl asked him “Pan? Is that what you want to name her?” “Only if you want to.” “Pan is a lovely name and I would love to stay with her tonight by the way what time is it.” He asked “3:30 am come on GO I need sleep and so do you just don't leave Panny's side.” Gohan kissed her forehead “all right just let me tell the others it is time to leave.” He said getting up. Gohan walked to the waiting room again were everyone was waiting “I don't know if I can say this again but I’ll try, my daughter her name is Pan.” “That’s a lovely name who thought of it?” Chichi asked. Gohan ignoring his mother went on talking “She only weighs 3lb 9oz, she is very sick she may not make it threw the night, I call you later go home and get some sleep I’ll stay with Videl and the baby, please don’t worry.” With that last note he left to go the ICU to see is daughter. He steped into the small room he herd a small beeping sound and looked to his left and saw his daughter she really was small he felt his hart sink. Gohan never thought that he’d love this baby as much as he does. He looked at her more closely tubes, monaters, things stuck to her to monater her hart rate, her skin a very redish with a tent of purple to it. Gohan ran his fingers across her hand. Smothe very smothe He thought to himself. “Hey you, what are you doing in here you can’t be in here, get better so me and mommy can take you home that is were you want to be trust me on this one, I also want you to know that I love very much, I’m your daddy or Otousan, Papa, or you can just call me plain ol’ dad if you wish.” With that he fell asleep in a near by chair. He awoke around 12:30 that afternoon, he was hoping the whole thing was a nightmare but when he saw his daughter he new that it was all true too true for him. When he looked over to his side he saw Videl in the chair next to his. “Hey your finaly awake.” She said as she noticed him “Yeah but I have to go make a few phone calls, is Pan any better?” “No, but she isn’t worse so that is a good sign.” Videl said trying to hold back tears “I feel that it is all my falt I should have been more careful and not thought so much about the rumor.” She said finally letting the tears flow down. “No, no it is anything but your falt if the person didn’t start the rumor you wouldn’t been so worried don’t blame yourself.” Gohan said nealing down to her “Pan will get better and when she does we can take her home and start a wonderful life together you me and Pan” He kissed her then got up “I have to go I’ll be back soon just don’t worry on me alright.” “Gohan?” Videl said looking tored Gohan “Yes?” he asked looking back “Thank you, you made me feel better, and I really do love you.” “I love you to Videl.” Gohan walked and found a near by pay phone in the lobby with a deep sigh he dieled his home phone to tell this mother. “Honey, I’m so sorry this had to happen…yeah alright dear I’ll make sure to tell her I understand…alright sweetie buh bye.” Chichi said hanging up the phone. On the other end Gohan was doing the same. He asked Chichi to call everyone elase so he could spend more time with Videl and Pan and less time on the Phone. When he got back he found one of the doctors talking to Videl. She had her head down low and keeped nodding. “Hey what’s going on?” Gohan asked as he came in. “Well your daughter is doing a little better she may be even get out of here…but not to soon Videl will be relesed tomorrow but we have to keep Pan until she makes a full revore, but we don’t know when that will be.” The doctor said, “Your lucky she is still alive.” Then the doctor left. “Poor baby I hope that she is alright.” Videl said “Videl! Gohan! I HAVE GREAT NEWS FOR YOU I FOUND OUT WHO STARTED THAT RUMOR!” yelled Erase “Erase for one thing, don’t yell in here and for another thing who I want to kick some ass.” Said Videl “Wait never mind I can’t.” “It was Angela, how I found out don’t ask.” She said “But why?” asked Gohan “From what I got out of it she was still crushing on you.” “Erase half the girls at school have a crush on Gohan.” Videl resorted “Yes but she was jealous of you, here I’ll tell you what she told me. Remember when you told Sharpener and me that you were pregnant?” “Yes…” Both Gohan and Videl said together “She knew then that it was imposable that you two will break up, so she started the rumor hoping that you, Gohan would believe it and break up with you Videl and she would be the one that will get Gohan, unfortally when you two didn’t break up she became more jealous, so your lucky I’m such a good friend because she was going to put in an article in the city newspaper and say the same thing that is going around school lucky you I stopped it before it got anywhere.” “Thank you Erase.” “Good then can I take Gohan to prom then.” “WHAT?!” Gohan yelled and asked at the same time. “I’m kidding I’m kidding, Oh by the way Angela admitted that she started the rumor, she was suspended for a month and won’t be able to graduate, because her grades are so poor.” Erase said “Thank you Miss Gossip.” Gohan said kiddingly “How is the baby doing?” “How did you find out?” Gohan asked “Your mother, I called Sharpener he should be here soon.” Just then Sharpener walked in. “I herd about Pan is she going to be alright?” he asked soon after he walked in “We don’t know.” Videl said close to tears “We just don’t know.” Weeks Past, and Gohan sat in his room thinking, tonight was Videl’s night to stay with Pan so he had the room to himself one of the things that he was thinking was purposing to Videl they had been together for almost a year… and they also have a kid He did love her. “I love her a lot but would now be a good time to ask her? Would she even say yes would she think that I’m only asking her because of Pan…arug!” He said to himself. “Gohan! Dinner, do you feel like eating tonight?” His mother asked him. “No, not tonight, but thanks!” He yelled back. He hasn’t eaten much lately which surprised everyone. “Maybe I will ask her if she says no then well I don’t know I’ll think of something.” He said to himself, and then he got up “Mom I’m Going To The Hospital To See Videl and Pan!” he yelled out the door “Alright!” She yelled back. When he got to the small room that he is too familiar with the small ring in his pocket he walked over to his sleeping girlfriend. I have to do this know or maybe I will never get the chance again. “Videl honey wake up I have to ask you something.” He told her “Hmmm? Gohan what is it?” She asked him. “Well I was wondering.” He started then he got on one knee, Videl gasped, “Will you marry me?” Gohan finished “Yes, you didn’t need to ask Gohan" with that they kissed each other putting as much passion into it as they could. They were interrupted by a small giggle. “Gohan did you just giggle?” Videl asked her fiancé “No…I thought it was you.” He told his Videl, she only shock her head “PAN!” they both said at once. Pan only giggled again. A doctor turned around and gave an odd look and walked over “That’s odd…your daughter seems to be fine…nothing seems to be wrong she’s breathing and her hart rate seems to be normal “So does that mean we can take her home?” Videl asked “Well yes, maybe even tmorrow, we just need her to stay one more night.” “Can we hold her at lest?” Gohan asked “Please we never got to.” “I don’t see why not.” The doctor answered. In a few minutes the small but healthy baby was in her mother’s arms. “Johan she so pretty, she looks just like you.” Videl said looking at Pan “Is that a good thing?” He asked stupidly “If you were ugly yes, but in this chase it is a good thing.” Videl answered him. That night felt like it was the first night they felt like a real family and they fell asleep in that small hospital room together.
